Wool and leather are self-cleaning and break down naturally most substances. Regularly beating and airing is usually enough to keep your skin clean, smooth and fresh. For freshening up, you can hang the sheepskin outside (in the fog) or you can lay it with the fur side in the snow and then shake it out. If your sheepskin gets a stain, you can remove it with a damp cloth. After a while, the sheepskin can get matted. To get it back nice and soft, you can comb it with a brush especialy for long hair coats. WASHING (only relugan lambskins) Our Woolskins Eco Relugan lambskins can be washed in combination with our specially developed Eco Wool Wash in the machine at 30°C delicate cycle (short program)*. It can also be dried after washing in the dryer on low - NOT HOT- temperature . This makes our Woolskins Relugan coats so unique and easy to use! WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: - Put the relugan lambskin in the washer with 50ml Eco Wool Wash in the soap tray. - Wash the lambskin at 30°C delicate cycle (short cycle) - Lay the lambskin with leather side on a towel and roll it up. Wring well so that the remaining water is pulled out as much as possible - Now you can dry the coat in a tumble dryer on a low -NOT HOT- temperature. - Leave the lambskin rest, and stretch gently into shape. Possibly brush it afterwards. (The leather side of the lambaskin can still feel a bit stiff after washing. This naturally softens again during use) * washing your lambskin is always your own responsibility!
